2. QUOTATIONS AND SURVEYS

2.1 Where requested, Climate Select may carry out a survey of the property before recommending suitable equipment.

2.2 The purpose of a survey is to assess the customer’s requirements and recommend equipment considered suitable based on the information available at the time.

2.3 Our recommendations may take into account factors including room size, construction, insulation, glazing, solar exposure, heat sources, intended use and other relevant factors.

2.4 A survey and product recommendation do not constitute a guarantee of a particular room temperature, energy consumption or level of heating or cooling.

2.5 The performance of air-conditioning equipment can be affected by factors outside Climate Select’s control, including external weather conditions, building construction, insulation, glazing, room usage and installation quality.

2.6 A quotation is valid for the period stated on the quotation. If no period is stated, the quotation is valid for 3 days.

10.2 You are responsible for informing us of any material changes to the property or intended use between the survey and installation.

10.3 No recommendation can guarantee a particular level of cooling, heating, noise, energy consumption or room temperature.

10.4 You remain responsible for ensuring that the proposed installation location is accessible and suitable for installation.

10.5 If you choose to purchase a product contrary to our recommendation, we may record that choice in your order documentation.

15. CANCELLATION – UK CONSUMERS

15.1 Where applicable, UK consumers purchasing goods by telephone or under an off-premises contract may have a statutory right to cancel without giving a reason. This can only be accepted prior to Delivery of the goods after which the customer becomes entirely responsible for the safe return of those goods.

15.2 For qualifying distance sales, the cancellation period for goods will generally be 14 days beginning on the day after the goods come into the consumer’s physical possession, however goods supplied by Climate Control are bespoke in nature, once goods have been delivered no such cooling off period exists.

18. CUSTOM OR SPECIAL-ORDER GOODS

18.1 Certain goods may be ordered specifically for a customer and may be made, configured or sourced to the customer’s particular requirements.

18.2 Where applicable law permits an exception to a statutory cancellation right for such goods, Climate Select will advise you before your order is accepted.

18.3 We will not rely on this clause to remove a cancellation right where the law does not permit us to do so.

19. REFUNDS

19.1 Where you are legally entitled to a refund, Climate Select will process the refund within the period required by applicable law.

19.2 Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

22.3 Where such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect on you.
